Maureen Denise McCormick was born on 5 August 1956, in Woodland Hills California the youngest and only child of Richard McCormick and Irene McCormick. Her father was a school teacher and her mom was mother at home. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick always enjoyed dancing, singing and putting on performances with puppets. When she was just 6years old, she won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask if the actress would be keen to work in show business. McCormick was offered her first significant work in 1964, when she starred in a TV commercial featuring Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year she was a guest on another firm's Chatty Cathy Doll and was quickly chosen to play The Brady Bunch La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the role of the youngest daughter of the towheaded trio in The Brady Bunch. The show was a collaboration between Florence Henderson, Robert Reed as well as a brand new family. The run of five years for the show proved to be a huge successful one. McCormick disclosed her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity with Barry Williams during the five-year period in the series. In the moment, she was 16 and he was 19. We would've had a relationship, said she. But the timing wasn't right.
