Born on 2 December 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model best known for her appearances on TV shows and films. Brandt, who began her acting career in New Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom she was able to make her American debut with the role of Naevia as part of the historical show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In the last decade the actress has been featured in numerous TV series, such as from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Since 2016, Brandt has been playing the character in the role of Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer starring Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town, South Africa. The family moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. The path she took to her career started as a model in print and commercial advertisements. Before becoming a famous model, Brandt was employed as a retail salesperson and as a consultant in recruitment for information technology. Her first starring part in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity where she took on the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021, she starred in Spartacus Blood and Sand as the young slave girl named Naevia. In the mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena She reprised her role as Naevia. Co-starring with actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In the year 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter for Netflix's popular show Lucifer. The role is her most prominent up to now. The series features Tom Ellis Lauren Gerber Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside as well as D. B. Woodside.
