Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord and flautist piano over 3 years. Lennox was able to live with the stipend she received from her students as she worked part-time. Lennox believed that her abilities were inferior to those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other options she could pursue. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. The group did not appear on the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. The main part of her role was the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics.
